Ledgex is a personal finance app that works entirely on your device. We built it so that your financial data never leaves your iPhone.
Data Collection
We do not collect any data. Period.
No account or sign-up is required.
The app has no servers. Nothing you enter is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
Data Stored on Your Device
Everything you enter — accounts, transactions, categories, tags, scheduled transactions, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). Deleting the app deletes this data.
Permissions the App May Request
Photo Library (optional): If you enable slip scanning, Ledgex looks for bank-transfer slip images in your photo library and reads them using Apple's on-device text recognition (Vision). Images and recognized text are processed only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
Face ID / Passcode (optional): Used only to lock the app. Authentication is handled by iOS; Ledgex never sees your biometric data.
Notifications (optional): Used only for local reminders about your scheduled transactions. Notifications are generated on your device.
Imports and Exports
CSV import/export and MoneyWiz import are processed entirely on your device. Exported files go only where you choose to share them.
Children's Privacy
Ledgex does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new "Last updated" date.
